Best 1/32 set

For me, the best company in slot is NINCO, so the best set is the NINCO Starter Pro V 09. You can find more information in www.ninco.com. They have the best tracks and they even have the XLOT cars, with a 1/28 scale that can run in the 1/32 track and with so many details you will be amazed.

The best 1/43 set

This used to be a scale clearly controlled by Carrera Go!!, but two years ago SCX launched Compact, with good cars and tracks. It is an interesting competition, but the prize for this year goes to Carrera Go!! and its Disney Cars Set. Best HO track

This is, for me, a real curiosity or bizarre thing. HO cars and tracks are "big" in the US, and once you know them you have to love them. But in Europe they are almost unknown or taken for toys (as far as I know Scalextric, with the micro name, is the only european company working with this scale). I can´t understand why this scale is not more known and recognized in Europe. Maybe it is a question of time. And now, the best 2009 HO track for me is: The "Mother of all Slot Car Tracks"!With more track pieces, more track length, more levels, more banks, criss-cross tracks, squeeze tracks, sheesh! There just isn't another track like it.The Giant squeezes an amazing amount of action into only 4' x 8' of floor space. And as if that wasn't enough you get two super fast Super G+ Formula cars. They rock! And now, the Giant becomes the first AFX set to get the Tri-Power Pack. The only power supply available in any slot car set that lets you learn to race at you...

Best slot cars track for Christmas

Christmas is coming again and before we realize it will be the time for Santa to bring presents for the kids (and the not so kids)...and the same question as every year, what track would be better for my kid...or me? So I will start a series of posts about what I think could be the best tracks for them. There will be HO, 1/43, 1/32 and 1/24. See you soon...
